About - Safeguard Systems Europe (Ireland) Ltd.
Safeguard Ireland was established in 1982 and concentrated on
supplying manual accounting systems, and personalized Corporate
Cheques to the small business marketplace.
In particular it established strong links with a number of vertical
markets, such as, Credit Unions, Legal Practices, Travel Agents,
Golf Clubs, as well as a broad spectrum of small to medium businesses.
In the latter part of the 1980's Safeguard designed a manual
Visitor Management Product, which became the market leader in
both the UK and Irish markets. Concentrating on personalizing
the product to suit the customer's needs, it delivered solutions
to enhance Corporate Health and Safety and Security requirements,
as well as promoting a professional corporate image.
As well as the original Visitor Management product, ancillary
systems were developed, such as Contractor's Authority and Permit
To Work, Key Control, and Out of Hours security solutions, to
name but a few of our Health & Safety Product Range.
In November 2001, a Software development department was set
up in the Fonthill Offices. The intention being to provide alternative
Software Applications to
either replace or enhance our existing Manual
Product Range. This is now our fastest growing Department
and produces all the Software requirements for the Safeguard European
Organization.
The first Software product to be released from the Dublin Offices
was a Visitor Management System called Safe-pass
(May 2002). This product is quickly establishing itself as an
industry standard, with a number of major Banks and Corporations
in Dublin using the system. This Application will also be released
in 5 Languages, for European release. In September 2003, we released
Staff Time and Attendance (Safe-Time),
and Meeting Room Management Software (Safe-Room).
It is Safeguard's intention to strongly develop this area of it's
operations, focusing on producing easy to use, stable, and personalized
products, as it has been doing with manual applications for many
years.
